Dear Trade Partners,
First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your ongoing cooperation during this unprecedented time. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it continues to unfold both globally and locally. Our previously issued COVID-19 bulletin for construction sites (attached) remains in effect.
With evidence showing that the virus has become community spread within Canada now, we would like to reinforce that anyone showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19 refrain from coming to the site, inform their management and follow the advice of health officials immediately.
In the event that personnel who have been working on the jobsite become a confirmed COVID-19 case, we would ask to be notified immediately at which point we will be shutting down site operations for a period of 2 weeks.
Should the above scenario occur, or direction from one of our governing body’s which forces us to shut down operations, we would ask that all contractors on a daily basis ensure that they stay on top of their daily housekeeping and safety items.
In the event that the site is abandoned on short notice we would ask that everyone is prepared accordingly.
It is important to ensure that all housekeeping has been completed, all paths of access and egress are maintained. As well as all tools and materials are stored safely and securely (including items that may be susceptible to wind).
This is for the safety of our work site; the environment and neighbouring infrastructure and we appreciate your assistance in this matter.
Once again, we would like to thank all the efforts from your teams, in making our workplace safer for all involved.
Sincerely,
Paul Rygielski, President
IN8 Construction Management Inc.
